DiDonato opted for a straightening iron, employing a unique method of achieving curls. Bock observed as DiDonato roughly straightened a strand before clamping and flipping her hair over the iron, creating a perfect curl. Meanwhile, Bock wielded a traditional curling iron, wrapping strands close to her crown and holding them for a few seconds before shifting down towards the ends.

Though the results were identical – flawless curls – the methods differed significantly. In a playful caption, Bock humorously proposed settling the debate: “Let’s settle this once and for all… straightener or curling iron?” The experiment highlighted the individuality of beauty routines and the diverse paths to achieving a stunning look.
