‘Supersize My Pool’ is presented and hosted by actor and entertainment journalist, Mario Lopez. A familiar face in several series and movies, he is best known for his role of A.C. He has also appeared on other famed projects such as ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ and the syndicated entertainment news magazine show ‘Extra’. Supersize My Pool Plot: What is it about?
Each episode of ‘Supersize My Pool’ follows Lopez as he helps families to lend an all-new appeal to their swimming pools. He has previously worked on home improvement projects with Houzz and he now uses this experience to guide families who need a backyard upgrade by remodeling their dated, lackluster pools. With clever tips and tricks, we see how these dull artificial water bodies get refurbished into resort-style paradises. Some of the huge renovations yield results that showcase a colossal and dreamy outdoor aquatic oasis, complete with oversized grottos, caves, waterslides, and hot tubs. He collects a wishlist of fantasy pool ideas from the homeowners and then incorporates them into his project, thereby, turning their dreams into an unbelievable reality.
For instance, one of the families featured on the show, seek Lopez’s help when they discover an ideal house with a huge yard. However, a chipped pool with a stained deck and an unattractive hill in the backdrop, kill the wonderful experience. Lopez steps in with his team to create the perfect yard with a water park, which showcases a waterslide, grotto, and a VIP cabana, ideal for entertaining guests.
