‘Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father’ is a travel comedy tv show that airs on Netflix and first premiered on September 22, 2017. The show has been created by the comedian Jack Whitehall of ‘Fresh Meat’ and ‘Bad Education’ fame. He along with his father, Michael Whitehall also present the show.
The series is centered on the father-son duo, who travel to various parts of the world. Their trip of a lifetime is peppered with misadventures, escapades, and two very different perspectives to a situation. If you like traveling, then you must know that not everyone can be ideal travel companions. It is especially harder to travel with parents because of the generational gap, which makes them want to enjoy and experience places in a different way than you do. If you have ever found yourself in this pickle, then you will relate to what Jack goes through with his father.
There are several travel shows that have become famous over the years, but that is mostly because they show different cultures and have a hint of exploration and adventure to them. Some notable shows that spring to mind are ‘Madventures’ and ‘Unplanned America’. However, this series not only encapsulates all that but adds a layer of comedy to it as well, which makes it unmissable. Read on about this delightful show.
Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father Cast: Who is in it?
The unique set up only requires the two people in its title — Jack Whitehall and his father, Michael — to be filmed in front of the camera. The two-man show, if you will, has entertained audiences beyond the word. This is because they made the exploits so relatable with their comedy as to make the audiences feel like they were living them as well. As the show’s requirements go, it will remain a two-man show in the upcoming season as well.
Notably, Jack has recently appeared in the acclaimed Amazon Prime show, ‘Good Omens‘ in the role of Newton Pulsifer, a geek hailing from a long line of witch-hunters. Michael, for his part, is a talent agent among other things and has represented the likes of Colin Firth and Dame Judi Dench.
