Netflix is kicking off June in its usual fashion by releasing a bunch of brand new movies. There are too many new movies and TV series to cover individually so we’ll go over some highlights. Here’s what’s new on Netflix for June 1st, 2019.

Now let’s take you through some of the highlights:
Dynasty (Season 2)
Genre: Drama
Cast: Elizabeth Gillies, Robert Christopher Riley, Rafael de la Fuente, Sam Adegoke
Runtime: 42 min
Dynasty is the latest CW release on Netflix and continues the reboot of the swanky drama. It continues following the two wealthy families feuding for control and power.
The Dark Knight (2008)
Genre: Action, Crime, Drama, Thriller
Director: Christopher Nolan
Cast: Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Caine
Runtime: 152 min
The highest rated title today clocking it at over 9 out of 10 is the second in the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy. The first movie also arrived today.
These two movies are regular appearances on Netflix and it’s a welcome return. The movie comes just a day after the new Batman actor was announced.
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008)
Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy, Family
Director: Eric Darnell, Tom McGrath
Cast: Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith
Runtime: 89 min
For the kids comes the second of the Madagascar movies from Dreamworks.
In this entry, we see the exhibits of the New York Zoo once again go on a wild adventure as they accidentally head to Africa.
Arthdal Chronicles (Season 1) Netflix Original
If you’ve loved Netflix’s pickups from South Korea so far including Kingdom, then Netflix is getting weekly episodes of the massive show that is Arthdal Chronicles.
New episodes will release every Saturday and tell the story of an ancient city and its rival regions all hoping to gain power.
