Welcome to your Tuesday roundup of what’s new on Netflix for May 21st which includes the first Arrowverse addition of 2019 as well as a multi-Oscar winning movie.

Moonlight (2016)

A24 have added a string for new titles to Netflix over the past few weeks with today’s being one of the recent shining jewels in their crown. Moonlight scored three Oscars as well as another 223 wins as well as an additional 279 nominations. To say it’s a decorated movie is an understatement.
The drama sees the life of a young gay African-American progress throughout childhood, into high school, and into adulthood.
Arrow (Season 7)
Genre: Action, Adventure, Crime, Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi
Cast: Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Katie Cassidy
Runtime: 42 min
Arrow is still probably the most popular Arrowverse title to still be on the air on The CW. Its believable premise which thrives on its budget continues to see fantastic new seasons get made each and every year.
Season 7 just wrapped up last week meaning that it’s time for it to drop onto Netflix with another 22 episodes.
Here’s the official description of what you can expect in season 7: “In the aftermath of Oliver’s stunning admission, an old foe returns with the Longbow Hunters — a trio of notorious assassins — at his side.”
Wanda Sykes: Not Normal (2019)
Genre: Comedy, Political
Director: Linda Mendoza
Cast: Wanda Sykes
Runtime: 66 mins
Warning, if you do not like politics then stay well clear of this new stand-up special from Wanda Sykes. Throughout the special which spans just over an hour long, you’ll see Wanda tackle US politics, reality TV, racism in the 21st century and other topics.
