Chopsticks is now available to stream on Netflix

With one more day left to go until the start of June, Thursday is a quiet one with only a handful of additions. Friday is set to be jam-packed full of new titles, not to mention June 1st will be bringing a whole heap of new titles. For now, though here’s your full list of Netflix additions for May 30th:


Chopsticks (2019) Netflix Original Movie

Chopsticks is the 8th Indian Netflix Original to date. With Netflix’s expansion into the global market, India has naturally been one of the most fruitful markets Netflix has entered. Through the fame and influence of Bollywood in Indian cinema, Netflix has produced some excellent titles from the world’s 2nd most populous region. With over 32 million views already we expect Chopsticks to be a smash hit.

When her car is stolen translator Nirma has no choice but to enlist the help of a conman to help recover her vehicle. Unbeknownst to the pair, the experience will change their lives forever.


My Week with Marilyn (2011)

Pre The Theory of Everything, Eddie Redmayne had been showcasing his talents on screen for a number of years. One of his first high-profile roles was that in Simon Curtis’ My Week With My Marilyn. Starring alongside Kenneth Branagh and the beautiful Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe the film is an intriguing insight into the glamorous life of Monroe.

The Plot

It’s 1956 and Marilyn Monroe is set to star in “The Prince and the Showgirl.” Colin Clark a young production assistant manages to land himself a job working on the film and is given the task of helping Monroe and her husband find a place to stay during filming. It soon becomes clear that the pressure of being a worldwide star is getting to Monroe and it’s not long before she seeks out the affection of Colin who’s infatuation with the actress had grown immensely the more time spent together.


Svaha: The Sixth Finger (Season 1) Netflix Original Korean Movie

Netflix continues to step up its output of Korean titles with the release of another excellent thriller mystery.

Pastor Park works alongside the police to expose extreme religious groups. When he’s hired to look into a near Deer Mount, his mission leads him to work with police Captain Hwang who is investigating a murder with the main suspect linked to the Deer-Mount cult.


The One I Love (2014)

Before Elizabeth Moss became The “Queen of Peak TV” she was starring in plenty of television series and films. In 2014 she starred alongside Mark Duplass in the sci-fi film The One I Love. The film while was met rather well by critics had a very poor showing at the box office making less than $1 Million.

At the suggestion of their therapist, married couple Ethan and Sophie take a weekend getaway at a secluded estate. With their marriage crumbling them they’ll do anything to save it. Upon arriving the couples discover a surreal element to the guest cottage. Curious as to what could happen their weekend at the estate will either reconcile Sophie and Ethan or tear them apart for good.


Mere Pyare Prime Minister (2018)

In the slums Mumbai, indoor plumbing is hard to come by. Having to defecate on the streets of the slums, Kaanu’s mother is raped which brings his determination to improve the slums living conditions by building a toilet for his mother. Writing and sending a letter to the prime minister, Kaanu in his quest to build a toilet travels from Mumbai to Delhi.
