When will ‘Madam Secretary’ season 5 be on Netflix?
[ad_1]
We’re now a few episodes into season 5 of Madam Secretary on CBS. For those who watch the show exclusively on Netflix, you’ll be wanting to know when season 5 will be on Netflix. Here’s our best guess estimate as to when the political drama will be back on Netflix.
Unlike most political dramas, this one specifically takes a look at the role of the Secretary of State rather than the usual President. Téa Leoni plays the role of Elizabeth McCord.
With season 6 of Netflix’s House of Cards wrapping up this year, Netflix’s foreign political drama Marseille also now finished, Madam Secretary is one of the few ongoing political shows not only coming to Netflix but on television itself. You could argue the recently purchased Designated Survivor counts as a political drama.
Looking further ahead, the jury is out still on whether the show will return for a sixth season. Over at TVline, it has Madam Secretary listed as could go either way for renewal.
When will season 5 of Madam Secretary be on Netflix US?

The show first touched down on Netflix back in 2015 in April. Since then, we’ve had regular season drops every year in July. Season 4 was the last season to be added on July 4th, 2018.
Its now been confirmed that season 5 of Madam Secretary is coming to Netflix on June 30th, 2019.
If you can’t wait until then, you’ll either have to watch live or alternatively subscribe to CBS All Access who has the show on catchup.
