Since the announcement that Rihanna would be the new face of Dior’s legendary J’adore fragrance, anticipation has been building for the campaign visuals. The wait is over, and the first image does not disappoint.

In the stunning debut shot, captured by renowned photographer Steven Klein, Rihanna graces the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles, a setting worthy of her presence. Fans of the singer and fashion icon may recall her previous collaboration with Dior in their 2015 “Secret Garden IV” campaign, but this time, she takes it to another level. Radiant in golden light, Rihanna’s caramel-blonde waves frame her glowing skin, complementing the gilded opulence of the palace.

As the first Black woman to represent Dior’s J’adore fragrance, Rihanna expressed her pride in taking on the role. “Being the new face of J’adore is both an honor and a mission,” she shared with WWD. “This scent, which I’ve loved for so long, holds special meaning for women. I’m thrilled to join this journey and contribute with my own story, my roots, my creativity, and my sense of femininity.”

Rihanna’s ability to captivate is undeniable, and this campaign is no exception. While the preview has left us wanting more, fans won’t have to wait much longer—the full campaign video is set to release on September 1.
